Futures Behavior Therapy Center
Social Skills Program
Futures BTC social skills program incorporates occupational therapy, ABA therapy and speech therapy by using motivation as a key component and keeps social skills as our major concentration. The children are divided into small groups based on age and developmental/language ability and each session is spent facilitating appropriate interactions among the children. Groups are overseen by a Certified Speech Pathologist (CCC-SLP) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and all therapists are formally trained in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We accept Harvard Pilgrim, BlueCross and BlueShield and Tufts Healthcare insurance. If your child was participating in the Fall groups, he/she is on the list to continue in 2010. If you would like to change groups or have any further questions please call our office.
These weekly sessions provide the motivation to help children develop the necessary social skills to be successful at home, school and in the community. In order to keep children motivated to practice social skills by assigning themes to each social group.
Futures BTC can accommodate allergies so please let the office know about any allergies before the beginning of group.
