ABA 1:1


Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the 1:1 ABA Therapist is to carry out behavior intervention & curriculum programs for student with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities.

Essential Functions

    • Work 1:1 with students, run social skill groups, work in Life Skills program ages 3-22 in-center, school, and/or home
    • Work in Futures Summer Program
    • Write and graph data and ensure timely completion
    • Ensure behavioral strategies are implemented consistently and accurately under the direction of a behavior specialist
    • Use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to help students socially, academically, and behaviorally
    • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and communicate with students’ team
    • Attend team meetings as necessary and requested
    • Assist in the development of student books and maintaining materials
    • Participate in presenting student progress
    • Communicate regularly with directors and supervisors
    • Ensure all required paperwork is neat and completed in a timely manner
    • Provide transportation for students as needed from Futures Clinic to Futures Behavior Therapy Center
    • Other duties as required

Speech and Language Pathologist


Job Summary
The Speech Pathologist is a multi-faceted role encompassing individual therapy, group therapy, family communication and administrative duties. The therapist will work with children ages 1 to 22 years old who have developmental and social deficits in the area of articulation, social skills, communication delays and overall speech deficits. The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for ensuring that all clients on caseload have overall effective treatment programming & supervision and will implement Speech curriculum based upon Applied Behavior Analysis including discrete trial training, task analyses, and other research based curriculum modification. Intensive clinical training in Applied Behavior Analysis will be provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts prior to implementation.

Essential Functions

    • Individual speech therapy with students
    • Development of individual speech therapy plans
    • Development of treatment plans for insurance
    • Family communication and treatment planning
    • Writing and updating student progress reports
    • Assisting in student supervision
    • Coordination and communication with the student’s outpatient treatment team members
    • Social Skills Groups
    • Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis in Teaching methods (willing to train)
    • Conduct new client assessments and develop insurance required treatment plans
    • Writing, graphing, and updating client progress reports
    • Attend team meetings as necessary and requested and effectively solve parental concerns.
    • Act as an active training member for direct care staff .This includes on-site staff training, orientation training, clinical and staff meetings
    • Coordination and communication with the client’s outpatient treatment team members
    • Ensure effective communication and interpersonal skills with staff, clients and parents
    • Ensure all clients are safe by implementing de-escalation strategies
    • Participate in lifting clients of varying weights ages 2.9 years to 20 years
    • Supervise and manage programs and staff
    • Participate in overall operational efficiency and safety of staff and clients
    • Other duties as required

Occupational Therapist


Job Summary
Occupational Therapist conducts comprehensive assessment with physical, cognitive, psychological, or functional deficits, planning and implementing individual/group treatments to achieve the highest possible level of independence in daily living skills. Collaborates with other disciplines to arrange for appropriate care and facilitates a successful life skills.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)


Job Summary
Futures Behavior Therapy Center is currently seeking to add a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to the clinical team working to achieve individualized goals of children, adolescents and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Futures Behavior Therapy Center is founded on evidenced-based behavior analytic practice. The primary responsibilities of this role are the design, development and assessment of positive behavior support strategies, social skill programming, and staff and parent skill development.

Essential Functions

    • Completion of functional behavior analysis/assessment
    • Completion of skill assessment (e.g. VB-MAPP)
    • Development and oversight of implementation of positive behavior support plans
    • Development and oversight of implementation of skill acquisition programming (e.g. social skills, functional communication, daily living and independence skills, etc.)
    • Design and oversight of data systems used to measure progress across targeted areas
    • Visual analysis of data
    • Staff training and development specific to clinical programming
    • Parent training and development specific to clinical programming

Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or related field
    • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
    • Five+ years experience in applied settings developing and implementing behavioral interventions and teaching programs
